Pin Portfolio

Pinterest is loaded with ideas, all competing for your attention. People scroll fast, and if your pin doesn’t grab attention in seconds, it’s going to get skipped. That’s why good pin design matters. You want your images to inspire people enough that they stop, look, and click through to your website.

Pin Design + SEO Strategy

A great design gets people to save and click, but your pins first have to be shown to the people who are searching for your content. Pinterest is a search engine, which means it needs to understand your pin to show it to the right people.

In addition to creating beautiful designs, here’s how I make sure your pins are discoverable:

  • Pin titles need to be keyword-friendly, not just cute. Instead of “Gorgeous Wedding Invites,” a stronger title would be “Elegant Wedding Invitation Ideas.” I use strategic keywords for all pin titles.

  • The text overlay on your pin (if applicable) should use words people are actually searching for. Pinterest can read text in images, so adding strong keywords right on the pin helps it get seen by the right audience. For my clients, I pin a mix of text-overlay pins and portfolio images.

Take a look at some of the pins I’ve designed below, all optimized for Pinterest’s algorithm. If you’re ready for pins that actually work, let’s talk! I’d love to help you create effective designs to get people to save your content and click through to your website…so you can get more clients!
